Family History and Genealogy

Family history and genealogyhas been a hobby since 1969. It started in college as a part of a history project. I have met some wonderful people and learned a lot about myself. There are literally hundreds of surnames and 17,178 individuals in my database, most are on this WEB site. That includes 5,821 Families. Please feel free to browse and see if your ancestors are there. I can provide GED files for those of you with genealogical software so you can import your family data. I have added some "PDF" files in the Adobe Acrobat format.

This site includes three sets of dynamic (HTML) Pedigree Charts: Wirkkala, Altom, and Froescher (which includes the Goldsby pedigree). I hope you enjoy this option. You will also find the tried and true "Family Group Sheets" which can be accessed from the Genealogy page "Surname Index" link. I always welcome correspondence and try to respond quickly.
